Hello!
Pumpkinface has had a fun week - new deliveries of amazing organic veg (I loooove being able to smell the sweetness of our organic carrots as I wash them!), a vegan potluck afternoon and a bunch of new recipes ready to go.

The Seoul Vegan Potluck is held monthly at different venues. This, our first, was held at Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon. There was an entire table of AMAZING food, including burgers with onion relish (by the lovely Gemma from http://www.facebook.com/AFatGirlsFoodGuideToEatingInKorea), the best mac and cheese I have ever tasted (Malorie's adaptation of this recipe: http://vegnews.com/articles/page.do?pageId=40&catId=10&fb_source=message) along with multitudinous salads, quinoa, tofu buffalo wings, veggie chilli, queso etc etc. I contributed the 'meatballs' in the photo above with a roasted red pepper and tomato dipping sauce, along with a big pot of spiced lentil and carrot soup in the pic below. Sooo good!
I would also like to introduce you to these guys:

If you haven't heard of them already, these two talented ladies have produced a set of four beautiful recipe books, available singly or as a set of four. Divine photography and vegan, gluten-free, inspiring recipes make these a must-buy!
In other news, we are still working on our Pumpkinface pop-up restaurant concept. We have four or five workable, delish menus tried, tested and ready to go, but finding a suitable venue is proving to be somewhat tricky. We are looking for a space that will allow us complete access to the kitchen and dining room on a one-off basis for a Saturday lunchtime service, for 12-24 covers. If you have any ideas or contacts, please get in touch!
On that note, enjoy the mild weather for the rest of the week (Namsan is beautiful and deserted for a run/walk/meditation session right now!) and we'll be in touch soon.
